About the event
This is a joint meeting with the IADC
We are pleased to present a distinguished luncheon co-hosted by API Houston and the Houston Chapter of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) featuring Tim Duncan, founder and former President & CEO of Talos Energy.
Tim Duncan has played a seminal role in shaping one of the most dynamic and influential energy companies in the Gulf of Mexico and U.S. offshore space. As co-founder of Talos Energy in 2012, he led the company through its growth into a publicly listed operator with significant exploration, development, and production assets across the Gulf Coast and offshore Mexico.
At this luncheon, Mr. Duncan will share his insights on industry leadership, strategic growth in upstream energy, and the evolving role of independent operators in today’s market. Attendees will gain valuable perspective on company building, frontier energy development, and the operational realities of navigating complex offshore environments.
