Quantum Energy Partner & Rockcliff Chairman Alan Smith

Alan is Executive Chairman of Rockcliff Energy III, LLC and an Operating Partner at Quantum Capital Partners. Previously, he was Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer at Rockcliff Energy II, LLC and led the creation of midstream and mineral businesses involving the Rockcliff II assets. Alan also served as Chief Executive Officer of QR Energy, LP, a publicly traded MLP, and Quantum Resources Management, LLC, a direct investment private equity fund. Prior to QR Energy/Quantum Resources, he was a Managing Director at Quantum and prior to that he was CEO of Chalker I, LLC, Executive Chairman of Chalker II and Lead Director of Chalker III. He began his career with ARCO Oil and Gas Company and held positions of increasing responsibility with Burlington Resources, XPLOR Energy and Ocean Energy.
